		<description>I wonder if pining away for the "old ways" simply represents a tendency to want to stay in one's comfort zone. Stacks may not work as well in the specific situations mentioned, but there are times when I think they work better that the older method.

And Leopard offers quite a few alternatives. Spotlight and the new Finder for example. There's more, but the post ended up being too long...
